Rogier will take time to listen to your kitchen cabinet needs and then design, make and install a custom kitchen that meets your specifications and implements your ideas and needs. Rogier will also design and make any kind of custom furniture, out of most any kind of wood. His favorite wood is American Walnut, with Ash running a close second. Finishes might be hand rubbed oil or stain and lacquer, depending on the needs and desires of the client.

As I was finishing up that huge pottery order the church required a Bible stand. So I took time and made one. Thanks to the biscuit machine and biscuits and a little expertise octagonal bases are fun to make!

The Farmersburg Methodist Church commissioned me to build a cabinet large enough to house all their A/V equipment. So between repairing kilns, doing demos and building on the house, slowly, oh so slowly the cabinet took shape.

The altar modification project for the Farmersburg United Methodist Church, that I started weeks ago, finally came to fruition as the stained glass wasfinished and things were ready to install. As predicted the various partsfit together like the proverbial glove and things are looking GOOD! One can hardly tell the difference between the old parts and the new!

The Farmersburg Methodist Church is having a very large (5'x6' more or less) stained glass window made for the altar. The frame and light boxes to hold that very large piece of glass had to match the existing wood work. So I made the parts needed and re-used some of the existing parts. It is going to be beautiful! To be continued!
....Once again the chop saw proved invaluable to cut the final trim, carefully!!...
Visible in the background of the previous picture of the # 3C Potter's wheel, the cabinets I was working on are now finished and installed. The first set of pictures show the display unit without the final trim, the second set with the final trim. The cabinets are made out of red oak and were finished with a Golden Oak stain and four coats of lacquer. Adjustable glass shelves with a plate rail and interior light make for one nice display unit! The client was pleased :-)

Every once in a while the pottery department spills over into the cabinet department and /or vice versa. Such is the case here, as I am restoring a twenty seven year old Amaco #3 C potter's wheel with motor attachment. The erstwhile "Cadillac" of the Amaco line of potter's wheels. Unfortunately, because of manufacturing costs, this particular wheel was taken out of production "eons" ago. Somebody besides me is going to be very happy to lay his or her hands on this! If you are in the MidWest and are interested...we will deliver!

In order to hide the electrical wiring that needed to come down from the ceiling in the Shelburn library, two octagonal oak pilasters were added to the circulation desk that I built a few years ago.
